This is a typical Madhu Babu adventure novel full of fast paced action. Since it is a folklore novel, there is fair amount of fantasy too. But, Madhu Babu's trade mark humor is missing in this novel as it takes a more serious tone. The one hero - 4 heroines concept is rather hard to accept but since polygamy is a part of Telugu folk fiction, we can ignore it. Overall a good value for money.
Do you like Madhubabu's Shadow novels? Do you enjoy those novels depicting Shadow's adventures in those days before he becomes a spy? Then you will like this novel. This is practically a Shadow adventure set in a folklore backdrop. All the ingredients of Madhubabu novels (action, humor, twists etc.) can be found in abundance here too. Only thing bad about this novel is that it has a tragic ending - the hero ends up marrying 3 girls :)
I read several books of Dasari Subrahmanyam. Some of them like Chandamama serials are very good. However, Kapala Durgam is not one of his best works. It is a kids novel, but it has very little action and makes very little sense. Just look at this one part of the novel and you can judge the quality of this book: The prince is abducted by a sorcerer. Instead of sending a battalion to rescue his son, the King sends 2 convicted criminals. This makes us believe that the sorcerer is a dangerous guy that our heroes will fight. 3-4 scenes later, the same sorcerer is captured by the army of a neighboring country and starts acting like a buffoon from there till the end of the novel. Even kids will not take this much of inanity.
i guess its a fake website, im unable to read the downloaded book, it shows the incorrect format
Worst way of writing a book, no clarity at all. Probably written by an author whose knowledge is limited to generic books.
Rent option please
Okay but not fantastic
