This book made me think a lot. This book contains the ways and means for human being to become a greater Human being. Many people advise that one has to concentrate on Breath or to take to Asaanas or to go a gymnasium to improve health and for healthy heart. But, What really is good Health? One has to be healthy not only physically, but also mentally, spiritually and emotionally. We have to intensely ponder over the matter. For all these things, the path laid by sage Patanjali long ago is the solution.
This Book is written to suit people of all the age groups to undertake Yoga Sadhana, Pranayama and Dhyana. As a doctor, I agree with the concept that thought process is the reason for ill health. Develop good thoughts through Sadhana. From this angle, this book has to be considered a Treatise. This book has relevant references from Puranas, Ithihasas and from the Bhagavadgita which need to be read and assimilated in order to inculcate those values in day to day life while being helpful not only to the self but also for others.
