Description

A farmer in a village had a donkey. One day he left the donkey to graze and went to the fields to work. In the evening he couldn’t find his donkey when he returned from his work. Someone had stolen the donkey. The farmer went to the village and began shouting.

“You people are cowards… robbers. Give back my donkey. Otherwise I will not keep quiet! I will do what my father did."

The villager who stole the donkey listened to the warning. He got scared. He brought the donkey and gave it back to the farmer. He then asked the farmer, “What did your father do when his donkey was stolen?”

“He bought another donkey”, the farmer replied calmly.

Moral : The people heed to threats and not to good words.
