East is east and west is west. The former’s thought is developed and applicable ideally to its own environment. In the same way latter’s thought originally relates to its own environment. Differences surely originate if one theory/practice is applied to another environment or people who came from that environment. A missing unified theory of nature (for self) is proposed that may successfully explain both in times to come.
The concrete foundation to eastern philosophy of self-laid by sri Shankaracharya dates back to 700c. His school of self-realization comes under advaita philosophy. In 20th century shri Ramana Maharshi promulgated similar theory of self-realization using technique of vichara (self-enquiry).
The present book is an unbiased work presenting both eastern and western concepts with conviction giving more space and detail to eastern philosopher Ramana Maharshi lovingly called ‘bhagavan’ by his followers. The reader is advised to go through references cited for their own detailed picture.
PS: I invite comments on my presence theory of enlightenment to accommodate any theory of eastern or western philosophy’s parlance in life. Seeing life it-self as game (celebration) by notorious OSHO is also no exception to ably fit into presence theory coded at the end of this book.
