This is really an opening to me. I was thinking Hyderabad was assimilated into India in a couple of weeks or months of independence.
This is a vivid description of those critical movements. Second half of the book is more about personal grievance in the form of court documents.
worth reading.

The Good, bad, and the ugly of this book

Bad and ugly: Mukunda Ramarao gaari anuvaadaani Velcheru Narayana Rao gaaru anavasaram gaa pogidesaaru. W. B. Yeats raasina 'On Being Asked for a War Poem' anuvaadam chadivite telisipotundi, aayana anuvaadalalo nirjeevam, neerasam. Oka kavita anuvadinchadamante padaniki, padaniki ardham cheppadam kaadu ani Velcheru gaaru mundu maatalo chepparu. Kaani, pagilu terichi chadivi chooste Ramarao gaaru ade chesaaru.
