Sasisree had a specialty in story writing. He never had a condition to write about Muslim lives alone. He had his sight on total social life. In that life he is a side that’s all. As he examined and practically experienced the troubles Muslim life style is in his stories. As he strongly believed in democratic ideas and progressive outlook he achieved this social outlook and broadmindedness. The live examples of this are his stories in his “Tunes of life” story book.
The background of these stories is Kadapa, Siddavatam, Kamalapuram, Penna river coastal area. The characters in these stories are the poor farmers without lands who depend on river water cultivation, butchers, kerosene sellers, construction labour, tea stall owners, tailors, sugar factory employees, daily labour, TV mechanics, Sugalis and bus conductors.
Only Raju, in the story 'Status' alone is a person belonging to selfish money earning class holding the chances of availability clambers to the top.
All the women, except Sugali Seetamma, are common house wives. The unnatural cultural pressure that squeezes them is visible in his stories.
